In the basic map skills I find the Compass Rose easy. I find it easy because we already learned about a Compass Rose and how to use it correctly. All we had to do this year is show our understanding on how to use it and we had to be able to tell in what direction one spot on a map is from another spot. I also found the oceans and continents easy because like the Compass Rose we had already learned about the continents and the names off the oceans. I struggle most with Latitude and Longitude. I find it more difficult because it’s very specific numbers and you have to measure in both directions which I am not good at. Basic map skills are necessary because if you get lost you can know how to use a Compass Rose to find your way back. ReplyDeleteMaia, I can relate to this because I believe that Human Environment Interaction is hard to understand at first. You did a wonderful job explaining why it is difficult for you, and now I can understand why some people struggle with this theme.
